    This corporation is the first group of High-Tech.corporations of Kunming University of Science and Technology entered into the National High-Tech. Industry Developping District of Kunming. It is mainly engaged in:
1、The research, development and production of special functional powder material series such as silver coated copper powder, silver coated nickel powder, silver coated aluminium powder, nickel coated copper powder, flake silver, flake copper, flake nickel and flake tin powder.
2、Permanent stainless steel cathode boards used Metallurgy industry as copper electrolytic refine cathode boards or electrowinning cathode boards; inert anode material used in metallurgical industry.
3、High erode-proof and water-solubility and non-aqueous solvent Zinc based paints, and conductive paints.
4、The research, development and production of Surface Engineering--New plating techniques; Electroless Plating, composite electroplating; Aluminium and its alloy’s hard anodizing and colouring, metal surface ceramics and the surface modification of special nonmetal materials.
    It has stronger researching and developping ability. The number of personnel are over 60 in all. There are 4 professors and 3 associate professor, 3 Senior Engineers, 3 doctors and 4 masters in the company. Every year, over 20 doctoral and master students do their papers in the New Material and Surface Engineering Research and developing Center of the corporation. The corporation acquired many pieces of technological achievements, gained remarkable economic and social benefits after which were applied in production, and won many prizes of Technological Achievements of Provincial and Ministerial Level.
    Since it was founded in 2000 year, it has received sustentation from the high-tech industrialization projects of National Development and Reform Commission, National Project 863, Innovation Fund for Medium and Small Technology-based Firms, Yunnan Province Science and Technology Plan. The corporation had applied for Chinese Patent more than 10 items, 8 of which has been authorized. At present, It has 10000 square meters industrial base; the total amount of assets has over 4000 ten thousand Yuan.
